Let’s start with why you’re here… travel, road trips, adventures, itineraries?
If so, you are in the right place!
Hi, we are Tanja and Will!
In 2012 we both left our full-time jobs to discover the world. Australia is where our paths crossed and since then we’ve never stopped travelling together!
With the camera always in our hands, we seek for authentic experiences. We live, breathe and fall in love with every country where we step foot into. The desire to discover cultures, taste different foods and meet new people has brought us from New Zealand to America, going through Asia and Europe.
How do we like to travel? On the road, of course! Always on the move, we explore the world with a tent, a van, and our irreplaceable Sony Alpha.
The Detours Philosophy
Explore the unknown, indulge in exotic food, learn traditions, arts and cultures of old and new civilisations, camp under a sky of infinite stars and feel connected with the purest places on earth.
This is the Detour. An authentic experience on the road, away from the beaten tracks, where locals are your guides.
This is what we seek for, wherever we go. With Ultimate Detours we will show you how to plan the basics: departure date, budget, duration and how to leave everything else to chance, because the more that is left unknown, the more rewarding and thrilling the experience is.
