Yes, that’s right, somebody else knows that song that your hipster self has been listening to for all those years… When you meet that somebody and play that song there is an instant connection, you are on the same level, you fall in love with a complete stranger.

Indie rock, pop, folk or whatever you call it, this is great music that is bound to bring people together. Why not play it during your next road trip?

This American indie electropop band was named after the manner in which their songs were written! Two members of the crew lived too far away to be able to work together in person. They started then using the postal service to mail each other the beats..

5. Pumped up kicks – Foster the people


I met Will in a hostel in Sydney. Every time I was walking past his bedroom he was playing Pumped up kicks over and over again. I instantly fell in love with this song. And with him.

Could you think of a road trip playlist without Dreaming of you? Well, we couldn’t! This song it’s pure energy and you must sing it as loud as you can!

7. Little lion man – Mumford & Sons


Another song to sing along to at the top of your voice while road tripping!

2014. We were driving across Australia when this song first played on the radio.

This song has been on repeat since the day Will heard it. No joke, it is part of our life.
