What to do in Pebbly Beach
Located 275 km south-east of Sydney, Pebbly Beach is the home of a large colony of kangaroos. Set up camp and enjoy the beach while waiting for the sun setting. Only then you will find yourself surrounded by those curious little marsupials.
What you see here in Pebbly Beach is the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, as the iconic red one – the largest of all kangaroos and the symbol of Australia – is only found across mainland desert and arid areas. Hilarious selfies with roos are guaranteed!

If you are not a surf addict, no problem, there are many easy paths to explore while chilling in the shade of the beautiful lush forest. Pebbly campground facilities are bbqs, a carpark, drinking water, showers and toilets. Safe and quiet, this campground is an awesome place for families and kids. Booking is necessary and doesn’t include the park entry fee of $8 per vehicle per day.
